The clinical staff of Wellspring is led by Lynda Barron PhD LPC CPCS. Lynda is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy, life coaching, motivational services, chemical dependency treatment and mental health management. She specializes in the treatment of adults and families for the treatment of depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, trauma, and addictions. Lynda provides clinical oversight for all therapists working within the Wellspring program. Lynda attended Trinity College in Florida as part of her undergraduate education. She has a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, a PhD in Psychology from Northcentral University, and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia.

Harry "Barry" Barron MA LPC CPCS contributes over 30 years of experience in ministerial counseling to the ongoing program of Wellspring. Barry earned his Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity College in Florida and a Bachelors degree in Religion from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. He specializes in relationships, marital and family issues, as well as working with adolescents and children.

Kourtney has been with Wellspring since 2014. In addition to her clinical work, Kourtney also serves as Administrative Director of the practice. Kourtney has obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Fort Valley State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Behavioral Health Leadership degree at Walden University. Kourtney has a passion for working with individuals and families to facilitate the development of coping skills necessary for dealing with challenging issues. She works with each client to determine the specific therapeutic techniques and interventions that will best aid them in achieving their unique therapeutic goals. Kourtney is licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Laura Howell is a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Georgia. Laura obtained a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology degree from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, a Master’s of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology from the University of Georgia. Laura’s educational and professional background include providing therapy in a variety of settings including private practice, medical practices, hospital, nursing home, and correctional facilities with adults of all ages and children. Laura utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other modalities of therapy collaboratively with individuals to aid them in examining their thoughts and beliefs that are impacting them in a negative way. She is experienced in working with individuals who have been victims of trauma, individuals with severe mental illness, individuals with anger issues, families of/individuals with brain injuries, depression, and anxiety.

Kelly Way is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in the state of Georgia. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of Central Florida. Kelly’s educational and professional background include a variety of settings: private practice, hospitals, schools, and domestic violence agencies. She has experience working with children and adults of all ages. Kelly uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with other therapeutic modalities, to help individuals explore the impacts of their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, while also helping the person to build a toolbox of coping and calming strategies to improve overall quality of life. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys running, being active outdoors, cooking, trying new crafts and spending time with her family which enrich her counseling practice and personal well-being. She also has a rabbit, Gideon, that joins her regularly at the office.

Natalie is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Natalie works with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, and family systems challenges. She is focused on seeing clients form new patterns of thinking and behaving in order to improve their quality of life.
Natalie has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school setting. This experience continues to shape her therapeutic practice, as she now supports clients in reclaiming and rewriting their narratives on their journey to healing and wellness. Over the last year, she transitioned to outpatient mental health in the private practice setting. Some of her techniques include solution/strengths focused practice, therapeutic alliance, developmentally appropriate psychoeducation, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, goal identification and creation, safety planning and coping strategies, conflict resolution, and reality therapy. The work she does with clients continues to be dynamic in order to fit the needs of each experience, concern, culture, and life stage with compassion, respect, and knowledge.

Emma started with Wellspring in 2022 as a graduate intern. She is now licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Emma obtained both her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and bachelor's degree in psychology from Truett McConnell University. Emma works with clients holistically, as she believes mental health is affected by a variety of factors that impact one’s ability to cope. Emma has a passion to work with individuals who have been victims of trauma, young adults, adolescents and helping clients learn coping skills that are applicable to crisis situations.
